Il remake di Prince of Persia: Le Sabbie del Tempo ha confermato l’anno di uscita previsto, attraverso una visione poetica della fiamma riaccesa. Nel 2026, i giocatori potranno riconnettersi con il loro amato Principe, in un’avventura ricostruita da zero, che cattura la magia del gioco originale. Il gioco ha completato con successo la fase di pre-produzione e sta entrando in piena produzione, con Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Bucarest, Ubisoft Pune e E-Studio che hanno unito le forze con Ubisoft Montréal.

Con un post pubblicato sui social, Ubisoft ha annunciato che Prince of Persia: Le Sabbie del Tempo Remake sarà ora sviluppato da Ubisoft Montreal e non più da Ubisoft Pune e Ubisoft Mumbai. Il team si prenderà tutto il tempo necessario al fine di realizzare la miglior esperienza possibile. Ubisoft ha annunciato che Prince of Persia: Le Sabbie del Tempo Remake è stato rinviato. Originariamente previsto per il 21 gennaio, Prince of Persia: Le Sabbie del Tempo Remake uscirà invece il 18 marzo per PS4, Xbox One e PC al fine di consentire agli sviluppatori di migliorare la qualità generale del gioco.
